In connection with the purchase of the DECsystem-20 for LOTS, please
delete the LP20-BA line printer from the existing order.  Please add
16 more ports (one DC20-AA and one DC20-DA) and the sources for the
TOPS-20 operating system.

We will save $21,500 on the line printer.  The additional ports will
cost $6,000; the operating system sources have been offered to us for
$10,000 (per telephone conversation between James Stafford of DEC and
Ralph Gorin of the AI Lab).

We shall order a PRINTRONIX line printer similar to the one at IMSSS,
which, with interface, will cost about $5,500.  This printer is
considered to be superior to the DEC printer which it will replace.
